Emmy is currently pursuing an Associate’s degree in Music Composition at Austin Community College with a focus on jazz trumpet performance, improvisation, and music theory, he teaches foundational piano, guitar, and ukulele skills, and also fluent in Spanish. He designs engaging, age-appropriate group and one-on-one lessons that introduce rhythm, melody, chords, and technique while reinforcing language development and helping each child grow musically.

Parents will appreciate Emmy’s ability to adapt his teaching to different learning styles and developmental levels, his clear communication (including in Spanish) about progress and practice strategies, and his commitment to creating a safe, encouraging, and organized space. Emmy is passionate about fostering creativity, confidence, and strong foundational musicianship in every student.

Janus brings a deep love of music and a lifetime of experience to her teaching. Raised in the small town of Tremonton, Utah, she grew up in a musical household, her father a professional trombonist and band director, and her mother a skilled pianist. From an early age, music was a natural part of her life, and she was fortunate to begin her journey with private lessons from trained professionals. Janus studied flute from High School through college.
