TUITION: Please note that Round Rock Music charges a flat monthly rate, Students will receive 48 lessons per year. The months when students have 3 lessons, their 4th lesson will be made up during the 5 week months.
Tuition reserves a student’s private lesson time with their instructor each week. Reserving 30 min weekly lessons is a flat rate of $155 monthly. (This includes months with holiday closures as well as those with an additional 5th week)
Tuition is billed automatically on the 1st of each month. Accommodations can be made to bill on specific date upon request.
Tuition does NOT cover any added costs of accessories i.e.: books, rental instrument, reeds, strings, etc. Any rental equipment requires either a credit card on file or a deposit of the instrument cost.
Attendance
STUDENT ABSENCE: No refunds are given for missed private lessons. Tuition reserves a student’s private lesson time each week. Parents who cancel a private lesson with 24 hours notice can book a makeup class. Makeup classes sometimes can be, but are not always with their private instructor. This is based on the teacher’s availability.
MAKE-UP LESSONS: Parents can see available makeup times/days by logging into their student portal. These classes must be booked 24 hours in advance. These makeup classes do not roll over into the next month. Unused makeup lessons are not refunded or credited. Makeup classes can range from 1-4 students, and include opportunities to reinforce musical foundations, musical games, exposure to ensemble playing, and much more! Private makeup lessons are not available.
DROP POLICY: Students who miss 2 or more lessons without prior notice may lose their time slot. Should you for any reason, want to end your lessons you must notify RRM in writing (email) 15 days before the new month starts. Otherwise, you will be responsible for the full month's tuition. There are no exceptions.
We do not offer credits or refunds due to weather related closures.

What if the Student is Sick? Please feel better soon! If they feel up to a virtual lesson we can connect you and your teacher at your scheduled lesson time. If you’re wanting to book a makeup you will find a makeup schedule via the student portal. See “Makeup Lessons” above for details.
If we know we’re going out of town, can we pre-book a makeup class beforehand? YES! Check out the student portal and schedule your makeup in advance!
RR Music School was closed due to a holiday, how do we makeup this lesson? All students receive 48 lessons a year. (This means on the months where there are 3 lessons due to a holiday, they’ll have a 5th in another month) BUT just to make sure, we preload a makeup class credit (bonus class) for each student each month ANYWAY.
My student wants to take a break from lessons, how do I let you know? Fill out our Discontinuance Form Here: Lessons are prepaid and there are no refunds if discontinuing mid month.
How can we book a makeup class with their private instructor? Private makeup classes are not available.
