At Round Rock Music School Everyday Feels Like Taco Tuesday

🎸 Guac and Roll 🌮

Our first live performance recital since December 2019, now that’s something to Taco’bout. One by one our students took the stage at Torchy’s Tacos after a long two-year hiatus of performing live. The all-around smiles and expressions of anticipation as they patiently waited for their moment in the spotlight were only overshadowed by the amazing performances that were carefully cultivated for their friends and family to enjoy.

With a sign that reads “Be Safe Y’all” between performers and a stage that is literally made of rock,(you are what you play on) the students at Round Rock Music did not disappoint and couldn’t have been more ready to showcase their skills. Or was it the enticing smell of Torchy’s kitchen that had them chomping at the bit to enjoy a post-recital reward from their famous Mexican fare? Mole and Music is there a better combo?

From woodwinds, brass, strings, vocals, and keys, all walks of musical life are represented with just as much variety as you'd expect from Round Rock. These students never cease to impress us day in and day out on how far they have all come. The versatility they have shown and continue to reinforce through their spirited and bang-on stage performances is a testament that our community of musicians remained intact during a time that had impacted so many.

Having front row seats to this recital was very special, but what has always been the main point of pride for Round Rock Music School is watching our students learn and grow into their full musicality potential. Each and every one of our Round Rockers gave it their all and truly made us proud to be showing them the love of music that each of our teachers has ingrained into their daily lives.

Whether it’s signing up for our classes like Rock Band or Power Piano, the group music lessons that we offer not only allow the students to learn the technical aspects of their instruments, but it creates long-lasting friendships and further develops their social skills learning in a group setting. Don’t be a stranger and come on down for a tour of our school, or even take a peek at Texas’ very first Music Bus. I would say we stop at nothing to ensure we are delivering the best group music lessons in Texas, but as we know a bus stops a lot. Don’t miss out and get on board today.
